can i just say
To all those people saying that Jane meant the “love you” as a friend or because he needed to make everything seem real:
Both those things seemed very likely to me at first. When Lisbon asked him about it, I was sure he was gonna say that it was all part of the act or that he didn’t really mean it.
But then he didn’t.
HE. DIDN’T.
What did he do?
He pretended not to remember.
HE LIED.
and THAT, my friends, THAT is what tells you that he meant it as more than that.
If those other reason were true (and i was very open to them), he wouldn’t have lied. he DEFINITELY would have told her that it needed to look real or something of the sort.
BUT
HE
DIDN’T.
AND THAT SAYS ALL THE THINGS.
